Yearling Bison - Not Available in 2010

This harvest takes place on the west side of the Madison River November through January for animals under 30 months of age. These yearling heifers are the best "meat" bison available, and the robes and skulls are also nice. Most will weigh 700-800#, with limited numbers available in the other size ranges. This is a guided harvest. Animals will be field dressed by guides and loaded into the hunter's vehicle.
